ContractorsGL ("we", "our", "us") operates contractorsgl.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It describes what this site actually does. If a practice is not described here, we do not do it.

This site is a lead generation service. We are not an insurance company, agency, or brokerage. We do not sell insurance, bind coverage, or advise on insurance. When you submit the form, we pass your request to licensed insurance professionals, who contact you directly.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the quote request form we collect the details you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, trade, state, payroll, number of employees, and the details you write in the message field.

Information collected automatically. When you submit the form we record the IP address the request came from, your browser's user agent string, the referring page, your browser's language setting, and the date and time of the submission. We record these to confirm the submission is genuine and to keep an accurate record of when you contacted us.

What we do not collect. We do not run advertising pixels, we do not run analytics or behavioural tracking, and we do not build a profile of your browsing across other websites.

How we use your information

To pass your request to licensed insurance professionals who can provide quotes
To contact you about your request, or to allow those professionals to contact you
To share the details needed for a licensed professional to quote or underwrite your coverage
To keep a record of your consent to be contacted, as described below
To detect and prevent spam and fraudulent submissions
To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations

Consent to be contacted

When you submit the form you agree that we may contact you about your request. If you enter a phone number, you authorize calls and text messages (SMS) at that number, and if you enter an email address you authorize email at that address. Contact may be made using automated technology. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. You can reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

We record the wording you agreed to, the date and time you submitted the form, and the IP address the submission came from. We keep that record so that your consent can be evidenced if it is ever questioned. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us using the details below.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:

Licensed insurance professionals and agencies. When you submit a request we pass it to licensed agents, brokers, or agencies who can provide the coverage you asked about. They contact you directly, and they handle your information under their own privacy policies and their own licensing obligations. This is the purpose of this site.
Service providers. Companies that provide our website hosting, our spam protection, and our email delivery, acting on our instructions and only for those purposes.
Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

Cookies

This site uses a security check provided by Cloudflare Turnstile to tell a person apart from a bot when the form is submitted. Turnstile may set cookies to perform that check. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking cookies, and we do not set cookies of our own.

When you acknowledge the cookie notice on this site we store that acknowledgement in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear. That value stays on your device and is not sent to us except as part of a form submission, where it tells us whether you saw the notice.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the right to:

Know and access the personal information we have collected about you and how we use it
Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you

How to submit a privacy request

Contact us at info@magnumsoftwareservices.com. We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time we will tell you and may extend by a further 45 days. You may make a request twice in a 12 month period at no cost. If we decline a request we will explain why and tell you how to appeal, and we will respond to an appeal within 30 days.

To protect you, we may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request.

How long we keep information

We keep quote request records for as long as needed for the purpose they were collected, and longer where insurance regulation, licensing rules, or tax law require it. Records that evidence consent to be contacted are kept for the period during which that consent could be relied upon or challenged.

Security

We protect the information you send us with encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
